RADAR is officially registered

Mar 02 2009, 19:00:41 by - klb

RADAR was today officially registered as a non-profit organization at The Broennoeysund Register Centre, which is an official register authority under the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry. RADAR's organization number is 993 799 947.

This registration was done as a way to further promote our anticheating and fair play encouragement for eSports in general. This will hopefully also prove to our last objectors that RADAR aims to be as serious as possible about the voluntary work we do.

RADAR is hoping to be able to take part in an initiative by Norsk Tipping called Grasrotandelen in the future. Registrating RADAR as an organization was the first step towards this goal. Further information about how to register your player card with RADAR as receiver will be posted when and if we get approved to take part in Grasrotandelen.

Downtime

Since 21th of January, our webpage and forum has been down, due to some hosting problems. At last, we've found a new hosting partner, so let's hear some applause for IXO!

We had to install a new forum due to lack of security at the old forum. If you got any problems regarding registering or other similar things, just contact us at #RADAR on QuakeNet or contact us at radar@gaming.no.

Merry christmas and a happy new year!

RADAR wishes all non-cheaters a merry christmas and a happy new year!

We've reached 15000 banned ID's

Oct 18 2008, 16:26:51 by - Sipi

As you can see in the left graph below, the amount of bans per year has decreased since 2006, when we reached 10000 banned ID's. The reason for this isn't just that some of our old communities has closed down, but it's also fewer cheaters. Since the 10000th ban we've gained some fresh blood with six new communities (two of them has already closed down - Itavisen and WildGaming) but the other four is still active - dot.org, CDS, Burn-CSS and Finnmark-Gaming. We're hoping that it'll be a long time before we reach 20000 bans, and that all of our communities continue their work!
